My GP diagnosed lichen sclerosus about September 2005. I am 57 years-old and think I must have had it for about 10 years but nothing was really noticeable until about 2004. Since September 2005 it became much worse. Instead of applying the cream the GP prescribed for me I started to use Aloe Vera gel and straight away the soreness was relieved although the shrinkage of the area continued. I then started to use Liz Earle Body Creams in conjunction with the aloe vera on the same area and the vulvar became a healthier colour and still I have had no discomfort, which is such a relief. My GP has referred me to a Gynaecologist and I still wait an appointment. I also take Aloe Vera Capsules with a drink as well as I thought if it was giving me complete relief of soreness topically then it may keep my urinary tract healthy as well. Fingers crossed.

I have used her products for everywhere on my body and ironically my skin is absolutely gorgeous because of it. So I thought that if it did so much good everywhere else, why not give the creams a try "down there". Although they aren't designed for this I do feel that it keeps the skin really supple and nourished. I don't feel any discomfort at all with my LS but I do also use the Aloe Vera Gel as well. I tend to alternate and now I daren't stop using them. It has NOT stopped the shrinkage though, it has only made me comfortable. Liz Earle designed her products because she had eczema and nothing helped her. As a health journalist she was able to set to and create her own products. They are Aromatherapy based.
Good luck.
